Sturdy and Long-Lasting

Pretty much just what I was looking for in a straw. For medical reasons, I have to drink everything through a straw, and most plastic straws a) are too small in diameter and b) are not very durable. Shipping on these was superb (although I live on the West Coast, so shipping was 2 business days from Washington state, their point of origin). The only problem with these is that they’re very heavy and there’s no purchase for your teeth, so it’s difficult to keep the straw in your mouth unless you have very strong lips. I solved that problem by inserting heavy-gauge plastic tubing in the stainless straw so that my teeth have something to bite on.

Excellent for smoothies

We wanted an eco-friendly dishwasher-safe alternative to disposable plastic straws, and this product works very well. We make smoothies with fruit, vegetables, and ice, and these tend to have some tasty chunks that confound thin straws. These nice wide stainless steel straws are perfect for the smoothies and can be re-used countless times – you never throw them away! If you’re like me and are doing your best to avoid plastic, another nice touch is that these arrive to your home wrapped in paper… there is no pointless plastic packaging to dispose of. Excellent!

Perfect for smoothies or increasing your water intake!

I LOVE these straws! They are perfect for smoothies, shakes, etc, and really help me to drink more water. It’s something about that wide straw that makes it easier to get in my 8 glasses per day.
