Great, but pay attention to what you’re getting
I like Scott Towels, mostly because they are so lint-free. But over the years I have watched with interest the Incredible Shrinking Roll of Paper Towels. Do notice, when you are calculating prices, that these are 52-sheet rolls. That is some small roll of paper towels.
At least they are white. I wonder what mad paper creator decided that Mr. and Mrs. Houseproud, who just redid their kitchen in tile and granite and stainless steel really want a roll of paper towels sitting around with pastel pictures of puppy dogs and ice cream cones all over it. My kitchen isn’t even fancy, and I don’t like it. There are many more people without tiny children than with; and, back when I did have tiny children, they wouldn’t have liked it either–they had better taste.
The only explanation I can think of is that some company VIP has a brother-in-law who lost his job as an illustrator at Sappy Greeting Cards, Inc. Otherwise, it makes no sense at all. So, tiny little rolls or not,…
The Original Scott Towels Are the Best
The original plain white standard-size Scott Towels provide the best performance and cost-effectiveness I know. I use these strong absorbent towels all the time for cleaning, washing, drying, dusting, and polishing. Local stores keep substituting other styles and other brands, but these Scott regulars remain the best. I hope they continue to be conveniently available through Amazon.
