Viva Paper Towels, White, Giant Roll, 12 Rolls (Pack of 2)

Outperforms The Rest

Every brand’s commercial advertises that they have the best paper towels, the most absorption/stregth/etc. A few years ago I went ahead and decided to do an experiment on my own around the strength and absorption of the major paper towels on the market. I tried each of the major brands (Bounty, Brawny, Scott, and your local ‘store brand’) in two tests: amount of liquid absorption per individual towel and strength of tearing of towel while wet. In the end, most paper towels performed about the same – except for Kleenex’s Viva towels.

If you have never tried these paper towels before, they will blow you away. They easily have the strength of at least two or three of and other leading brand of paper towel while remaining extremely soft to handle. They also absorb about 2x the amount of liquid than any double-ply towel. I don’t know how they do it with the paper, but it seriously feels that they are made of cotton.

Although they may be slightly more expensive than…

Excellent!

I bought these just to try them, because I’d used the Sparkle brand and I hated using 5 paper towels each time I had to wipe anything. Viva paper towels were on sale so that was my selection process.

MY GOODNESS! These are wonderful! So far, one paper towel has always been enough to handle anything. My husband and I joked that they are such high quality paper towels that we will let them dry and use them a second time. And then, the very next day, my personal assistant was over and I had left a Viva paper towel on the counter (where dishes were drying), and she thought it was a washcloth and she laundered it. I’m not even joking. So, these are serious paper towels.

Highly recommended. I thought maybe they would leave a lot of lint on things, since they’re so thick, but actually they don’t. They hold together really well, and they’re quite soft.

I haven’t used anything since!

Okay, so I’m not a frivolous spender. I hate the fact that you have to spend more to get a quality product, and so many times I look for a deal to a fault. When it comes to paper towels however, my wife and I ALWAYS buy Viva.

PROS

- Incredibly soft

- They really do feel like cloth

- Very strong and absorbent

- Large sections

CONS

- Premium price

These truly are higher quality paper towels. The thing that really won me over was when I used one of these to SCRUB a carpet that had a spill. No bits left behind, no tears in the towel, it was literally like using a real cloth, but without the laundry afterwards! Sure, you pay a premium, but it is in my opinion absolutely worth it! Highly recommended!
