Fits 9″-tall mug
I needed long straws for my 34oz, 9-inch tall ‘Bubba Mug’, but, while the pink Tupperware straws I first ordered gave me the proper length, they were so wide in diameter that I just could not fit them thru the hole in the lid at all… ugh.
Another straw I tried was a green one from Starbucks; I think they use them for those iced drinks with the dome lid; alas, these straws were not as wide as the Tupperware straws, but still very wide… wider than I wanted. I had to practically squeeze the straw closed to fit it into the lid of my Bubba Mug. Not only that but, being so wide, it really delivered more liquid than I wanted with each sip. The search continued.
And then, VOILA! These ‘Soton Flexible Straws’ are PERFECT. The diameter is just like the regular drinking straws we’re all used to; the only difference is the length. And, being the ‘aesthetic’ that I am, I ordered mine in ‘black’ to go with my mug, *lol*.

Longest “flexible” straws I’ve seen
These work well for taller glasses (I’ve never seen straws this long in a restaurant) and I like the flexible part, but they are thinner than I thought they would be, and thinner than the straws you normally get in restaurants and bars. So if you plan to use them with only watery or light beverages they’ll be fine, but I don’t recommend them for anything thick or chunky.
Chinnese Straws
Our order for straws arrived today, much to our dismay, the packaging clearly all in chinnese even to the point that nothing is readable. what are they made of ???? The amount of time to receive these just compounds our lack of satisfaction. Never again.
