Great Straw Alternative
I purchased these for my wedding after we saw some at a cater’s office. We got a ton of compliments on them. I definitely recommend them.
These straws do stick to your lip on the first sip since they are made of paper. They did NOT decompose as quickly as I expected. They stayed fairly sturdy for the entire event. I paid just over $20 for a box of these so they were more expensive than plastic straws but they really matched our wedding theme. I found them elsewhere on the internet but Amazon was the cheapest and had the fastest shipping with my Amazon Prime account.
Purple Striped Paper Straws
I purchased these straws for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party. I placed them in glass bottles to be used for the milk, since we were having a cookies and milk party. I got so many compliments on them! My only complaint was the price charged for shipping. I believe I was charged as much for shipping as I was for the straws–and $20 (combo of shipping and price of straws) is a little too steep for something like this. Had I noticed the shipping price prior to purchase, I would have looked around and found something less expensive.
Soggy.
I used these for a lemonade bar at a wedding. Enjoyed the bright colors and liked that they were biodegradable. My lower review is because they got soggy surprisingly fast. If they remained in liquid for more than 10 minutes they became unusable and mushy.
