As laytex gloves go, these Microflex Ultra One gloves are the gold standard.

I use these for work on vintage trucks and mechanical repairs. They are EMT gloves that are very thick and do not tear easily and they have a nice longer cuff which does a great job of protecting your entire hand from grease and goobs of engine repair.

I purchase them by the case and give a few boxes away to friends who have not yet discovered the beauty of using professional grade laytex gloves for working on vehicles. The ease of simply peeling off a glove to answer a phone or jot down a note when your hands are buried in grease is often not appreciated until you actually have great gloves like these and use them regularly. The GOJO dispenser in my shop is now six years old and still 90% full; my fingernails no longer need a fingernail brush to clean up; and, dropping these gloves in a trash can and grabbing a clean pair for the next phase of a project is a real time saver…

Good but large is really small.

good solvent resistance. But order extra large as the sizes they supply are very tight. I ordered Large and I am not a big man. they are very snug.

Protect your Hands already!

I’ve been working in lawn care for 15 years and one of the things that bugged me was the cuts and scrapes and gunk build up my hands sustained daily. My job is a dirty business and cloth gloves,dirt,grease and pesticides don’t mix well. Rubber gloves are clumsy,frustrating,fatiguing and tear easily when encountering the rough,sharp objects I come into contact with. These gloves have been a life send for my hands the last few years. Not only do they protect well and rarely ever tear, I can also slip on another pair of rubber or cloth gloves over them just as easy as being bare handed. These gloves cost a bit more initially, but considering the fact you could probably wear a pair for 2 to 3 days without a tear they cost much less than than wearing multiple pairs a day due to ripping.
