Price is right but quality is suspect

I look for made in the USA cause I hate cheap chinese crap. Great recreation of a retro style. I would have gladly paid more for these if the quality was a step up. The chrome plated steel tubes just don’t appear to me as if they are gonna last. Live in Florida where humidity kills furniture like this quickly. The seat and ball bearing turntable apear good but I hope the chrome plated tubes last. Ended up taking the tubes and seat base plate to a powder coater and have them powder coat it all clear in hopes of slowing the rust down. Wish the manufacturer did the same and offered it as an upgraded version of the chairs for those willing to pay.
