Luv the straw, no more toxic plastic!

I am really happy with the glass bendie straw.

I decided to get the large because then if I do make a thick(er)

smoothie it will work well.

I was tired of using plastic drinking straws where I was putting

the liquid I was drinking through a toxic substance into my mouth.

What is the good of using organic produce to make my drink and then

sipping it through something that isn’t healthy for me!

The fact that it has a lifetime guarantee if it ever breaks, is a plus

and was definitely something I looked at when purchasing this item.

I highly recommend this item.

For my Smoothies

This is a large enough diameter to suck up the thickest smoothies (and wash well in the dishwasher). It seems very thick walled and solidly made. I have no concerns about it breaking unless you massively abused it. It is tall enough for a 16oz tumbler and has a lovely tinkling sound against the ice cubes in lemonade. I felt guilty about using disposable plastic straws-so this is perfect! I measured it at 9″ tall.

Perfect straws, though they are a little wide.

This is just my opinion, but I don’t think there is an overall width difference between the models, 9.5mm and 12mm. Don’t get me wrong, the inside of the straws are different sizes, but the straws are essentially the same. I guess when manufacturing they use the same template straw but will drill just a bigger or smaller hole through it. So the straw will still be pretty wide regardless of whichever model you order.
