D2 Fixed, Serrated Edge by Ka-Bar 1283

Thisn is an excellent knife.

I choose this knife because it is excellent and everything I expected and then some.

It is a very well made knife.

The tang should be a bit wider…

…so speculations, about it being snapped off in the middle-section, where the blade meets the handle, would end. I’m not sure what to think about the D2 as a material for knives, because some people say that it’s very hard but at the same time: fragile. I haven’t noticet any chipping, anyways. I like the feel of it, the handle feels just perfect in my hand.in my opinion, it’s too expensive for it’s price range and maybe KA-BAR should rethink their materials, designs and pricing motives more closely.
