The description of this is a little confusing. I am having a largish party, so I took a chance and ordered these. What you get is 12 packages of 24 flatware pieces (8 forks, 8 knives and 8 spoons.) That comes to a total of 96 forks, 96 knives and 96 spoons. That’s 288 total pieces of flatware. At the current price of $34.29, that is about $.12 per piece. If you are an Amazon Prime member and receive free shipping, that is a GREAT deal. I also ordered this same set in yellow, b/c red and yellow are my son’s school colors, so I have enough for 192 people – WAY more than I’ll need for this graduation party. But, I will use the red again at Christmas, and I have a 2nd son only 2 years behind, so I’ll use both colors again in 2 years. If you’re having a large party, or if you’re planning on having several parties over the next few years, this is a great deal!
