5 ounce Dessert Cups / Hard Plastic Souffle Beverage Cups with Lids Package of 50

Way Too Fragile

These are almost impossible to use. I bought these to be able to pack small amounts (dips, applesauce, etc.) in my son’s lunchbox and be something he could just toss out when done, so I was totally planning on one-time use. But I’m finding I’m not even getting that for about half the cups. First, just pulling them apart from the original packing seems to result in a trashed (cracked) cup, about a third of the time. In about another third, the cups crack when putting the lid on, or being put into a (soft sided, not over-stuffed) lunch box.

These are very, VERY brittle and thin plastic. They have zero flexibility and if you accidentally squeeze too hard they simply shatter. (And this is coming from a not-so-strong mom in her 30s.)

I’m giving them two stars because the size is good and I’ve successfully used A FEW that made it all the way to lunch but, honestly, these are the most fragile plastic I’ve ever encountered.

Nice for one time use.

These are great, but don’t expect to reuse them much. I use them for homemade frozen cups of jello/ICEE wannabe’s. They crack when trying to spoon the frozen treats. But I’ve found about 50% did not crack. We’ll see what a 2nd use does to the remaining.

Not bad for the price. I’ll get the 8-pack of Glad 4 ounce containers going forward.

And on a side note, when separating the lids, there’s usually two or three. They are packed well.

Perfect single serves

These are perfect for one serving of jello or pudding. Hard to get the lids separated, it comes with a caution to carefully separate the lids, but I think I was still shorted about 8-10 lids. Still a great product.
