I have used these plates for a long time. When I saw Amazon had a package of 240 I grabbed it. I was a little surprised when I saw how they were delivered. It’s 10 packs of 24 plates. A little bit of a storage problem for me but still I consider this a good deal since a hip injury has kept me from getting to the stores the way I used to. These plates can handle just about anything you put on them.I haven’t had one give out on me yet.

Won’t fall apart like regular paper plates, worth the extra money. Can even cut food on the plate without it going through.

Sturdy plates – Never a mess!

The Dixie plates (10″) are a great everyday plate. The 10″ plates work great for lunch as they hold a sandwich, chips and pickle perfectly. I’ve found it difficult however to use the 10″ plates for dinner/supper as you run out of room with a single piece of chicken and a scoop of mashed-’taters. I suppose it all depends on the individual serving size. Despite the size Dixie plate you purchase, all Dixie brand are excellent for use in the microwave and don’t break down like other paper plates when heating foods like gravy, sauce or melted cheese. These Dixie plates are strong and the rim makes handling hot foods from the microwave, oven, or stove top a cinch without worrying if the plate will give out or your burning your hand while trying to support the bottom while steadying the plate (like what happens when using those cheaper brands).
