Better Than Paper or Plastic
Vanity fair plates are sold alongside paper and plastic plates but are superior because they are made using a composite limestone material which makes them more durable than either paper or plastic. They will not soak through and will not fold under the weight of a large meal. More expensive but worth it.
Love these plates & always have them on hand!
Vanity Fair plates are awesome. I’ve tried almost every type & brand of disposable plates & these are my favorite. They are durable, microwavable, nice looking, etc. I get them in both the small & large sizes from Amazon. While Chinet is also durable & microwavable, I am not a fan of the Chinet brand as they are made of what I’ve always thought very strange thick paper. These Vanity Fair plates do not have any paper feel to them. They come in 3 packs & are price comparable w/ other sites as far as I can tell. They are a little pricier than other brands, but that is probably why I like them better. Highly recommend.
Sturdy and pretty papaer plates
I like keeping really nice paper plates on hand, so when company shows up, I don’t spend my time washing dishes. These are really pretty plates and very sturdy. I also purchased the bowls and dinner plates. I will keep my kitchen stocked with these plates. I highly recommend them.

Dinnerware
I don’t normally use plastic, but my son is getting married in Hawaii (I live in Alaska) and my daughter and I are catering the reception, so for the sake of travel and economy I ordered these plates in the dinner, salad, and cake size. They are attractive, durable and the price was right!
Just right!
Not only is this little gem biodegradable but it’s perfect for desserts and finger food of all sorts. It’s sturdy and the perfect size for those times when a full sized plate is overkill.
fantastic quality
what can i say, biodegradable, nice and heavy duty you can actually eat a meal on them. worked for our wedding dinner and we kept a green theme.
Great size and hold up well
We have used these in our office for a couple of years now. They are the perfect size for the breakfast meetings. We also use the larger ones for luncheons and are equally has happy with their look and strength.

Perfect for party
These plates were the perfect size for a party. The new square design makes them a little classier than the traditional round paper plates.
Favorite
I purchased these for a 90th birthday party I was helping with. Wanting something good for the environment, attractive, and durable. This has all of that. Many people commented on the shape, and were astounded that these were a compostable product. This is a winner.

Perfect party size
I purchesed these for use at my daugher’s graduation celebration. They were the perfect party size! Big enough to get a sampling of many different goodies, but small enough to easily manage. Big hit! I’ll definitely use again.
Wrong picture!
I thought these were oval plates like the picture shows but they were round. Still good plates though, nice and thick. 100 compostable plates for around $12 is a really great deal. I would recommend these but keep in mind they are round and not oval!
Earth friendly and useful
I love, love, love bagasse products, and these plates are wonderful. It helps me in my quest to find an alternative to paper which requires cutting down trees. And recycled paper is not actually good for the environment or YOU since often recycled paper like receipts, for example, contain toxic BPA. This on the other hand is made from the byproducts of sugar cane and wheat. And instead of burning those byproducts (and polluting the air), these byproducts can now be used to make products commonly made with paper or plastic. It is even compostable. Definitely a better choice for the environment and your health. You can get sporks and cups and toilet paper made from bagasse too, which I highly recommend.
Natural and recyclable!
Good plated for snacks or pet food. I like that they’re recyclable and not made from wood fiber.
THese hold up well with damp/wet food like cake or cat food.

The held up quite well, even with sloppy food at an outdoor party. Well worth it!
Awesome
Being a “Green Family” we searched for a disposable plate that was eco-friendly. This was a great product, sturdy, and worked well for what we needed. We would buy this again for our next party.

Love that these are made from waste fiber and are compostable. Sometimes it is so much more convenient to use something disposable and these take the guilt factor away! And they hold up to hot, moist, greasy foods

Love the quality!
I love these plates for occasions that require an elegant look but still demand the need for disposable plates. I have also placed these on silver chargers and they look great!
Great for the use
I used these plates for Thanksgiving last year. They looked great! I don’t think they looked just like the real thing, and I didn’t have to take a closer look, but they were definitely a step up from regular plates, when the occasion calls for something dressier. Also, they are very durable. Some broke after the first use, but some I put in the dishwasher many times over. I wouldn’t say “don’t bother” because they happen to break. If you need something that looks nice, $30 is way cheaper than going out and buying 20 real place settings.
Could not believe that they were plastic
Loved these plates. A friend of mine had some similar for her wedding receiption, and I could not believe they were plastic. I had to tapp them against the table just to be sure. So I had to have them for our BBQ Engagaement party, and our guest loved them too

Triangle plastic clear luncheon plates
I do quite a bit of home entertainment, and i get many compliments on these triangle plates – a welcome change from the white styrofoam plates.
If it weren’t for the small surface area . . .
. . . I would give this plate 5 stars. The plate is fine, nice and sturdy, and a steak knife can be used on it (sparingly). But the edges are so deep that the actual working surface is only 6-1/2 inches.
Good plates, not GREAT
The plates are pretty – you can microwave them and the size is a good dinner dish size. You just can’t microwave juicy things in there and let it sit too long, or it saturates the plate and makes it soggy.
Overall a good plate for the price!
Decent but not as strong as I thought
The design of these plates is great, I mean the colors and decorations; however, I thought these plates where a bit stronger, they look like the Dixie’s plates but they are not as strong as those.

Wanted assorted colors
The description lead me to assume that the product would be assorted colors. I received a whole box of blue. I did not see where I could order a special color. The description needs to be more spacific.
Paper Plates
Great little plates, sturdy, durable and gets the overall job done! Would recommend these to anyone for everyday use or for parties.
Great little plate for a great price
The price for this many plates was great, I needed a little bigger plate but it is a good small plate.
They are reuseable
It is perfect for cocktail parties, looks real, lightweight and you can always reuse them. The good thing about this product is the size of the plate, it is just right to fit the right portion on the the plate without going overboard.
