We were a bit skeptical at first of glass straws in terms of breakage issues, but were excited to try them for a healthier option and felt confident due to the lifetime replacement warranty. Well they have had several scenarios where I thought they would have broken and to my delight they did not! I have recommended them to all of my friends and would recommend them to anyone
Not Unbreakable, but Not Bad
AS I noted in a review of these straws sold singly, they are a bit bulky, but despite the lack of aesthetic appeal that accouhnts for, it seemed that the glass being so thick would render it quite sturdy. However, one of the two straws I purchased, after a few months had a ragged bottom end where approximately an inch broke off, a few jagged bits at a time. I can only guess that this occured due to my, perhaps somewhat over-vigorously, stirring my drinks. Since a always have my beverages over crushed ice, I have to wonder if I swallowed any of those glass fragments.
However, despite misgivings, I did recently purchase this 4-straw-with-cleaning-brush packaging, hoping that none of the straws will crack under the pressure of my usage, as, so far, none have. I also needed a cleaning brush, and this one is good, although, of course, too short to clean the entire straw without going in at both ends.

These straws work wonderful to drink the thick smoothies I make every day. My Granddaughter who is 20 months uses them just fine even though they are quite large around. They are easy to clean with the pipette brush that is included although if I get to rinsing them ASAP I don’t need to use the brush.
So glad I ordered these…great purchase!
