I needed high stool for work bench garage.. with stabilty,movement,price,able to rest feet on support ring. put together less 10 mins.what else? needed,order a beer…

American made? I hope not!

I ordered two of these “commercial grade” stools for my workshop. Overall, I really like them. But as with anything, there are pros and cons.

CONS:

– The upper support ring on one had visible grinder damage under the chroming.

- Several holes were partially plugged by metal tabs that I had to knock through with a punch.

- The upper inner ring of the frame required forcing into place with my large dead blow mallot.

- Once you wrestle the upper ring into place, the whole assembly has to remain very loose,otherwise you will have fit and alignment issues. Once everything is lightly fastened you need gradually tighten the fittings in a cross sequence much like mounting a tire. Once you get the feel for the quirks any others you assemble should go together much quicker. (I cheated and used an 11mm box wrebch and a 20v impact driver). Bought 2 stools as a gift. One glider(end cap) was damaged. Budget Barstools took time to send me one to replace the broken one. I appreciate that. This is a good seller. Stools are solid. Like you would find in a restaurant. I may get some for myself in near future
