Finally a glove that fits…
These are great, sturdy disposable gloves. I have quite small hands, and disposable gloves are always huge on me, leaving room at the tips of fingers and an overall looseness I didn’t want. These are snug and don’t leave floppy finger ends (yeah!).
I bought them to use in the kitchen, sometimes I want to use gloves when handling raw foods or when shredding hot meat, and they’ve worked great so far.
My husband (and his big man hands) was able to squeeze his hand into one of these. He said they weren’t exactly comfy, but worked for what he needed. So he can deal for the rare occasion he uses them.
These are a good thickness, and I’m not afraid of breakage. They hold up to the heat really well.
Okay, but very thin. Remember to shop around first for different uses.
I’ve used several brands of nitrile gloves working at hospital, lab, and home. Aurelia offers the thinnest I’ve worked with. This is not necessarily a bad thing: for some of the home purposes, like peeling fruits (pomegranates, oranges), this works great. For brushing my dog’s teeth while feeling those sharp little canines pressing on my fingers? Not so much. And yes, it does rip, but from my experience, nitrile gloves tend to rip more easily compared to latex and vinyl, while offering stiffer, less sensitive feeling when worn. My lab opted for nitrile anyway because of 1) concerns with latex allergies and 2) slightly better protection against chemicals and needles/cuts and 3) we found out the hard way that nitrile handles heat better than latex does. But thickness is obviously a factor, and Aurelia isn’t suitable for any task that involves heavy protection.
Bottom line: for those looking for very thin gloves that offer basic protection while not sacrificing…
Great gloves, will buy again
Generous size gloves. go on easily and are durable, more so than others i have used in past. Like these best of all I have tried. I have them on subscribe and save so never runout that way.
